Kyra Coffey 

Kyra Coffey is a founding partner of ACCE Law Group and focuses on helping her clients build their wealth and protect their assets. Originally from Chicago, Il, Kyra relocated to Houston, TX to study law at South Texas College of Law. She specializes in various practice areas, including corporate, entertainment, and estate planning.

Kyra strives to assist companies in various industries and meets them at their needs, from those in the start-up phase, to those who are established and may be in the need of funding or acquisition protection, and those positioning themselves for succession planning. Kyra offers personalized, in depth, and creative advice to best position her clients considering their goals, industry trends, and business capabilities.  Kyra also has a specialized niche in contract management for private parties and government contractors.  She has been hired by her clients to act as general counsel, handling any needs that may arise from day to day responsibilities of running a business, including HR/labor concerns, compliance, contract management, and policy development, and business improvement.

For her entertainment clients, Kyra assists with copyright and protection issues, as well as drafts and reviews contracts, including, producer, agent, partner, and royalty agreements. Kyra negotiations to ensure that her clients are best positioned for current and future goals. Kyra also assists her film and tv clients with assessing risk and liability potential, in addition to content development.

Another area of great interest to Kyra is estate planning. She works to ensure that her clients have an up to date and thorough estate plan. Kyra provides her clients with a complete plan, which includes their last will and testament, living will, statutory durable power of attorney, medical power of attorney, HIPPA authorization, and declaration of guardian, as well as the applicable documents for children when appropriate.

As Kyra serves her clients, she finds it just as important to serve her community. She is the founder of the community outreach program titled, S.E.L.F: Savvy Entrepreneur Leaders of the Future, which provides high school students with an eight week program where they turn an idea into a comprehensive business plan. Kyra is also a board member for the Re-Education Project, and engages in community service initiatives with various associations.
